Very late check in, with a wonderful first impression of the gentleman working 26th/27th July. Sorry we didn’t get your name, but thank you again for being so accommodating. We really appreciated your kindness.

Our room was incredible. A real treat. Spacious and clean, with the unexpected bonus of a balcony overlooking the hotel fountain. Large, comfortable bed, and then you’ve got the bathroom - roll top bath and huge shower. Just fabulous.

Breakfast was really good, in a nice bright setting to kick-start the day.

Pizza at night was really good, with a huge thank you for the “razzmatazz” of Brennon . What joyous character he is. Professional, accommodating, and fun.

This was our favourite hotel during a week touring Ireland. So many great things to say about the hotel and its facilities, but it’s made by the staff, including Sarah on reception. They were all, guest first. We hope to return.

Booked a one night 'Gourmet' dining experience last Sunday for my partners birthday.|I booked on the hotels own website & the dinner bed & breakfast was €234, I opted for two upgrades, €20 for an executive room & €20 for a late checkout …

This is always my favorite hotel in Ireland. From the service to the relaxing grounds, there’s something special about this hotel that I truly feel like I’m on holiday. My photo of the garden area doesn’t give justice to how pretty it is. I love that this hotel is a nice stroll to the town. The food and drinks are delicious. I had the goat cheese and rocket pizza and a passion fruit martini and it was perfection (including the real passion fruit puree & slice of passion fruit as a garnishment).

The only thing I wished is that the beds were softer and had memory foam or mattress toppers because my back is always sore here, but it’s not enough to deduct a star because I love this hotel so much. Mini fridges would be helpful to have too to keep leftovers, because you have to either waste the leftovers, keep them at room temperature and hope for the best the next day, or toss them.

The staff are so attentive & helpful at the front desk and restaurant. This hotel is a gem to the area. It would be a great place to host a wedding (we saw the set up to a wedding and it was beautiful).

Response from the owner

Dear Elle,
Many thanks for your valuable feedback.

We are truly grateful for your continued loyalty and delighted to know that you found our team attentive throughout your stay. Your remarks about our garden area and dining options, especially your enjoyment of the freshly prepared dishes and drinks, are very much appreciated.

However, we are sorry for the aspects that did not fully meet your expectations. Our team is always happy to assist with any needs during your stay, and we appreciate your suggestion as we continually look for ways to enhance the guest experience.

We look forward to welcoming you back on a future trip.
Best regards,

Andrew Hyland, General Manager
